Shark Pen is designed around simplicity, transparency, and minimal data collection.
Image processing in your browser
Images selected or uploaded in the studio are read by your current browser. Coloring, undo, reset, and PNG export use the browser Canvas. Shark Pen does not actively upload local images because of these actions.
Browser storage and color history
For convenience, the studio may save recently used colors in browser localStorage. You can remove them by clearing this site’s browser data. This color history is not used to identify you.
Third-party images and logs
Library examples are delivered through an image CDN, so your browser may make normal network requests to that CDN. The site may log search keywords and basic access information to troubleshoot and improve content; uploaded local images are not stored as search data.
